Gotta love…Molly Wood Garden Design Holiday Style

I LOVE Molly Wood Garden Design.  I think I first fell in love with their concrete clamshell, styled with this amazing succulent planting:

So pretty, right?

Then, when I saw these holiday displays on their site, I fell even more in love

Their studio and showroom is located in Costa Mesa, CA, which explains their fresh take on holiday style.

Behind the Scenes: Happy Earth Day!

Raised by a mother who was bringing her own bags to the grocery store back in the 90’s, I have an appreciation for Earth Day and I hope you do, too! Last year I started composting and this year I’m going to purchase one of these kitchen composters, so I don’t have to have kitchen scraps sitting in a bowl on my countertop waiting to be taken out at the end of most days. Pick something, anything you think you can do to improve your “carbon footprint” this year. Use one less napkin, buy recycled napkins, plant a tomato plant, put that foil in the recycle bin instead of the garbage, consume less, plant a tree, or even hug a tree. None of us is perfect at it, or perfectly consistent at it, but it’s worth a shot at helping reduce waste and contribute to the effort to live more sustainably. So, what will you do this year?
